T-Shirt Dress and TOMS . . .
and How to Choose a Cardigan
What a great ensemble! Super comfy, summer-cool t-shirt dress and walking-on-air TOMS slip-ons, and the stripes are the cherry on top! I was really happy to stumble on this casual dress at Old Navy a while back. I hadn’t been into an Old Navy store in several years, and had popped in to check out some beach pants I knew they had. This dress is SO comfortable – it’s got just enough stretch.
I tried the dress with a pair of platform sandals but decided to go with the TOMS for fun. These are the most comfortable shoes. I don’t know what kind of cushioning they have, but it seriously feels like I’m walking on a foam pillow. I do like the platforms for a less casual feel and will try that look next time.

And the Cardigan
The photo below is about the cardigan. I’m wearing it because it was a little chilly in the morning. I wasn’t intending to show the dress with the cardigan in this post, especially when I saw what it looks like on, and, even more, how unflattering it looks with the dress. Then, as I was writing this post, I just happened to see this article from a blogger I follow (and have shared with you in the past), Jo-Lynne Shane: How to Wear Cardigans Without Looking Frumpy.
Boy, do I look frumpy in this photo!
I don’t wear cardigans regularly, and maybe it’s partly because I don’t choose them carefully enough so don’t feel good wearing the ones I have. I really appreciate Jo-Lynne’s article because she goes over what to focus on when choosing a cardigan and shows photos of her wearing both the good choices and the bad. I think I need to edit my cardigan collection! Check out the article to learn how to choose the right cardigan for your body.
Feedback about Superga Shoes and Sperrys to try
I had a few comments after last week’s Superga shoe post, including one from my sister, who is on her second pair of Supergas and loves them. I also heard from my cousin who loves Sperry Vibe sneakers – the style looks like to Superga sneakers but they have a memory foam insole and are very comfortable.
