I’ve been kind of obsessed with Liquid Metal Jewelry for more than a few years. When I wear my favorite pieces, invariably people have two reactions: “I LOVE your bracelet. Where did you get it?” or “I LOVE Liquid Metal – I have that bracelet too!”
Obviously, the common thread here is: Pretty much everyone LOVES Liquid Metal Jewelry.
If this line of beautiful, unique, and fun jewelry is new to you, let me introduce you!
To quote the creator and manufacturer: “The concept was born in 1991, when Sergio Gutierrez welded strands of industrial ball chain together. What emerged was an innovative new medium: structural mesh transmuted into an art form.”
It’s all true. The beautiful, somewhat industrial style, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings can be worn comfortably any time. The designs are so versatile that they work with jeans, work wear, or evening out attire.
I’ve purchased most of my Liquid Metal Jewelry pieces from a retailer that has both an online store and a physical store. The online collection that you will find at ObjectsofBeauty.com is extensive! (If you sign up to receive the Objects of Beauty newsletter, you’ll get 10% off your first order.)
The most fun, though, is visiting their store, Studio Nouveau, in the tiny town of Duncans Mills, California, on the beautiful Sonoma County coast. The store is not much bigger than a large walk-in closet and has the most extensive collection of Liquid Metal Jewelry that I’ve ever seen in one location – including bracelets, necklaces, rings, purses, and belts.
It’s worth an outing to the fun Russian River area – only about 10 minutes’ drive to the gorgeous Jenner coast where the Russian River meets the ocean, and minutes from the incredible Armstrong Woods.
If you’re local, make a weekend out of it. That’s what we do. And then the side trip to Studio Nouveau is easy! If you’re not nearby, visit their online store Objects of Beauty.
I was going to take photographs modeling the pieces I have, but they just don’t show well. So I’ve resorted to professional pix of my personal collection from my favorite place to buy Liquid Metal Jewelry, Objects of Beauty.
